Just look how much fun 3D must be!..."It ain't easy!"
I have been wrestling with this cow Dasiy the last three days. She is a nice model to work with, but she still have three legs more than I can keep in mind right now. She is supposed to walk or trot.
First we have to figure out what a cow standard trot is. Then study non standard cows in video refrences, wich is fun to watch. And finaly combine these two with a cartoony 3D model. And in the end it should result in a cartoony cow doing a standardized anonymous trot that looks just natural. They go against each other a bit so it is a bit confusing to pull off.

In 2D animation we just move around stuff by simply draw them on different places on the paper. But this is how it's done in computer programs, by fancy coordinates! I don't love numbers. But computers is the future so this has to be a more intellegent way of drawing...
I translated cow legs into human arms and legs to understand the anotomy.
The red here indicates limbs on right side.
